Praise with trumpet, harp and timbrel

Our Mission statement begins, "Our community is founded on praise and worship. Above all else we offer our thanks and adoration to God." We believe this and that "our fellowship is forged around the Lord's table: it is there that, responding to God's word, we meet to worship, give thanks, praise and joyful celebration´┐Ż."

In our church the style of worship is fairly simple, and based around the free church pattern of hymns, bible readings, prayers and sermon. We generally follow the pattern of readings in the ecumenical Common Lectionary.

Holy Communion is celebrated monthly and on the major festivals. Our community is based on the sharing of bread and wine in the eucharist, and our communion table is open to all Christians who want to share with us in the love of the Lord Jesus.

We are keen to further develop the use of music in our services. We use "Rejoice and Sing" and "Mission Praise" as our main hymn books, which we find offers a good combination of well-known favourites, especially in the Reformed tradition, and contemporary hymns.

We welcome children to our service and have a KIDZONE where the younger ones may play while the adults worship.

Our Sunday Service is at 11 a.m. After the service we meet in the church hall for coffee, and this is a key part of building up the fellowship of our church.

Prayer Group

Our Thursday morning prayer group offers the chance for a more intimate experience of prayer than is possible in the Sunday morning service. Through sharing concerns together the group aim to deepen their understanding of prayer in the common life of the Church.
